Planet IX is a crypto game, to be precise, a NFT-based strategy game. Using a virtual replica of the planet Earth as an arena, your goal is to return the planet to its former blue and green glory - and you do this by collecting virtual pieces of earth called PIXES.
Planet IX is made up of 1.6 billion pixels, all of which are also individual NFTs. For every PEAKS sold or sold, real assets are collected and allocated to existing sustainability projects to restore the REAL planet. So your mission is simple. Collect as many pixies as you can and help build the planet of tomorrow.
GAME DETAILS
Planet IX is a GameFi strategy game where the mission is to explore the world, collect NFTs, trade them on the marketplace, compete against each other in Play to Earn games, and earn rewards from various DeFi features. However, the game does not stop there. Your digital footprint in this environment will also have a lasting impact in the real world.
The virtual game plan is divided into PIX (tiles of land on the world map corresponding to real sites) that can be bought in packs and subsequently sold to other players in the secondary market.
Each PIX is subdivided into different levels depending on its location on the world map as well as certain attributes.
Your goal as a PLANET IX player will be to accumulate as many PIX locations as possible - either by acquiring PIX through pack drops, by trading in the market, or by cooperating with other players. The more you purchase, the more features will unlock in the game.
In order to play, you must connect Planet IX to your Web3 wallet. Since Planet IX runs on the Polygon network, you will need to add it to your wallet in order to trade and store your ERC20 tokens and NFT assets.
The planet map works like a search function. Swipe and zoom in on the area of your choice to get a closer look. Filters make it easier to see which PIXs you've already purchased in that area and which PIXs are for sale on the Marketplace.
The Marketplace is where you can buy, sell and bid on PIX. Use this feature to purchase a PIX connection to create and create larger agreed territories. The PIXs you have collected are marked in green, and the PIXs available for purchase are marked in red.
Looking for a specific type of PIX? In the Explore section of the marketplace, you can filter by location and/or rarity to find available PIXs that suit your needs. For more information about a particular PIX, click on it to view the level, classification, price, country, and owner.
If you want to stake or buy a PIX, first make sure your trading wallet is connected. Once this is done, go to the Marketplace menu. Now click "Explore" to view the PIX available for purchase on the map. Zoom in and pan around to see the PIX available at that particular location. Once you find the PIX or package you want to buy, click on it.
You can also find the PIX you need by searching the Marketplace menu. Narrow your search using the rarity and location filters. If a PIX or set says "Current Bid", this is the auction where the highest bidder will win the PIX at the end of the auction.
To place a bet on PIX, click "Stake" and enter an IXT value higher than the current stake. Now click "Place a bet" and confirm the transaction in your wallet; you have placed a bet on PIX. If your bid is the highest bid at the end of the auction, or if the owner accepts your bid, you win and receive PIX.
The goal of all Planet IX players is to collect as many PIXs as possible next to each other. Create and shape consistent land territories (Territories) and look forward to some pretty decent rewards.
To increase your PIX collection, you need to buy more. This is easy to do in the Marketplace. Here you can also sell or trade PIX with other players to acquire the land you need to expand and develop your territories. Divide and conquer, but in a good way.
Territories make up a huge part of Planet IX and fall into six categories: the first and smallest is the single PIX. Each territory requires more connected PIXs next to each other until you finally reach the largest stage of the domain. When you reach the "Region" territory level, you will begin to receive rewards from your territory through stakes. The bigger the territory you stake, the higher the reward you get.
Later, you will be able to form Territories by combining them with each other, i.e. combining two zones creates a domain. This way you will share ownership and rewards with other AoCs. Sharing is caring (as well as a kind of strategy).
The Landmark is divided into a different number of shares, which can be found in drops or won in the lottery. All sights have different rarity and features. Depending on the rarity, the attraction charges a commission on all transactions made in that particular area.
For example: Regular Landmarks have a smaller crop area, while Legendary Landmarks have a much larger crop area. There are 888 Landmarks in total, all divided into shares. Some attractions only have 1 share, while others may have several thousand. All shares have true ownership and can be traded on the trading floor.
PIX | ITX
The virtual planet is made up of 1.6 billion hexagons of a virtual earth called the PIX. These PIXs are divided into different classifications and levels depending on where they are located, and some are less common than others.
Each PIX is a unique NFT. Find the PIX you want to sell on the map or in your inventory. Click the "Sell Dollar" button next to that PIX in the menu. The sell screen will now appear. Choose how long you want the listing or auction to last and set a fixed price or a minimum acceptable bid. Once this is done, click "Post for Sale" to list your PIX.
IX Token (IXT) — in-game utility token; what you use to buy a PIX on the Planet IX marketplace. Token holders will play a big role in shaping the future of Planet IX. Their choice of virtual ecosystem upgrades will have a big impact on the game itself and therefore on the sustainability projects backed by the Planet IX community treasury.
More tokens = more PIX = more influence in the game and IRL.
